Once a year, the house opens its selection to every roaster and producer in the world.

Every lot is cupped blind. Every submitter receives their scores. There is no fee.

Chosen lots are named on every card, bag and Record, and may carry the house's mark.

The window

1 October 2026 to 2 February 2027. Submissions are open now. Samples are cupped blind once the window closes, and every submitter receives their scores. The dates are fixed and never extended.

The mark

A chosen lot may carry the words “Chosen by 22:22” with the city and year, for example “Chosen by 22:22 · Abu Dhabi · 2027,” on its own bags, website and posts, for that lot and that year only.
